Gentle beginner's tour: At 12.8 km distance 617 meters in altitude to overcome. The trail begins in Saalbach, performs at Spielberghaus over to Wirtsalm. Nearest stations are the Panorama Alm and the Turner-Alm. From there it's over the Glemmtalstraße back to the valley to Saalbach. Sweet, soft and lazy...
On the trail of the world champions
The legendary marathon course was designed specifically for the World Games. It is a must for anyone who understands biking as a challenge. The trail leads through almost the entire Glemmtal. 80.44 km length and 3,678 meters in altitude speak an unambiguous language. Make it. Or leave it. An absolute must for all ambitious sports riders. At a length of 28.2 kilometers and about 1,100 meters above sea level, it offers everything that drives the pulse upward. Crisp climbs and tricky root sections lead to the absolute highlight: the 9-kilometer stretch downhill trail through the "Screaming valley" with a well-off tunnel passage. Boredom was yesterday.
Panorama-5 Gondola-Tour or Big 5
XXL Tour across the viewing platforms of the Pinzgauer mountains. The Kick: The lift ticket of the five gondola tour does not cost the world and provides lots of lift between Saalbach Hinterglemm and Leogang. It brings mostly downhill routes - either on gravel road or trail. The ambitious freeride trip consumes 5,000 vertical meters in one day. But beware: if too many lodges panoramic breaks, the pedals must come down extra hard at the end - nothing for picnickers!
