Big-5-Bike Challenge in Saalbach – a great challenge for all freeriders

The Big 5 Bike Challenge is a great summer adventure für all tour riders and freeriders. The Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Leogang mountain railway company has been offering the Big 5 tour for years. The challenge includes 5000 metres of height difference which the participants have to conquer, 1000 metres of which go straight upwards. During the challenge, the bikers can rely on five mountain railways with special biker’s cabins. This will make sure the bikers will reach the top of the mountain in a comfortable and unsweaty way. Once you have arrived on the top, you can enjoy your ride downhill. Single-Trail passages interchange with wood paths and freeride trails. A perfect mixture that will make this ride a unique experience.

This year‘s BIG 5 BIKE CHALLENGE has been hooked up with a couple of expansions and improvements, including many checkpoints and snapshot-stations.
