Baumzipfelweg & Golden Gate Bridge of the Alps

Saalbach-Hinterglemm Climbing Park sets new standards in terms of suspension bridges for pedestrians!

The Baumzipfelweg is the highest tree top hiking trail in Europe. Together with the Golden Gate Bridge of the Alps, this combination provides you with more than one kilometer of loop roads in the tree tops as well as a suspension bridge with a length of 200 metres. With all of this being 40 metres above the Earth, this really is a project that can easily be described as unique worldwide.

With its massive construction made of larch wood with its stairs, towers, bridges and platforms, this projects provides you with wonderful lookout points for everybody – not only nature lovers, but also school classes. Saalbach-Hinterglemm’s top of the valley also provides you with breathtaking views. Find photos and more information by clicking here.
